Title: Technical Lead – J2EE / BEA WebLogic
Job Description:
Lead a team of consultants/developers in delivering technical solutions to customers
Provide technical leadership on WebLogic related products and tools , particularly using Weblogic Portal.
Design and deliver solutions with Integration to content management solutions and backend systems .
Should be able to read and review existing code and re-factor code to new architecture.
Review code base of developers
Deliver code adhering to best practices and performance requirements
Deliver code base which are easy to maintain and debug
Should be able to interact with offshore team on a daily basis and provide inputs, code reviews etc.
Skills and Experience:
Excellent communication skills
Provide leadership to the technical team
Should be able to handle a small team of 3-5 developers.
Must have worked as technical lead on a large project for at least 12 months.
B.A./B.S. or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrates a proven ability to exceed customer expectations and incorporate customer service into all aspects of the work plan.
Must have excellent architecture and design skills, specifically on J2EE-based web and portal applications.
J2EE - Must have - Minimum 5 years
WebLogic platform - Must have - Minimum 2 years
WebLogic Portal Server or any other Portal Server - Must have - 1 year
Oracle - Must have - Minimum 2 years
Servlets, JSP, JSTL, CSS, HTML, XSL - Must have - 2 years
Portlets - Desirable - 1 year
JDBC/SQL, LDAP, JNDI - Must have - 1 year
Design and re-factoring
Administration - System administration, portal administration, database administration - Desirable
UML, Rational - Must have
