Java ERP Developer
VUDU is seeking an exceptional Java developer to analyze, debug, and extend VUDU's Java-based ERP system. We are looking for a top-notch developer who can dive into an unknown code base and produce results right away.
Skills and Attributes:
• Very experienced in Java, XML, XSD, and scripting (Perl or PHP)
• 5+ years e-commerce/business application experience required
• Experience with Apache Open For Business project a big plus
• Experience in multi-threaded application development is essential
• Proficient with Linux and MySQL
• Able to dive into unfamiliar systems and produce quick results
• Self-motivated hands-on generalist in software development
• Strong orientation toward test-driven development
• Experience in developing fast, reliable, scalable, and secure applications
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with third party developers and code integration
• Experience with open source projects helpful
• Able to work in fast-pace high-performance development environment
• Ability to meet deadlines and commitment to team goals
• Start-up work experiences a plus
Education and Certification:
• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
