Job Description
|
Emerging high tech company sees Java Developer to work on the management system for the flagship product. Must be comfortable with taking ideas from high-level description to prototype to final specification, seeking feedback from others, and then implementing those features. Will join an established but dynamic team as a strong contributor with much personal responsibility for projects and tasks. Must be comfortable with helping to set own goal and carrying through to their completion.
• Very familiar with general application development with Java 2 platform.
• More specific and in-depth knowledge of building multi-threaded, multi-user, client server applications.
• Must be able to elicit and records requirements from both internal and external customers including the development of use-cases, test cases and prototypes.
• Technical focus bachelor’s degree of equivalent experience (4+ years)
• Basic XML Document and XML Schema (XSD) processing using JAX-P (Xerces-J) and/or JDOM are a plus.
• Deploying applications using Java Web Start and experience in GUI application development for multiple target platforms is also a plus.
