WebSphere Commerce Architect / Lead Developer
We are seeking new team members to join us in the implementation, customization and integration of IBM WebSphere Commerce sites. The WebSphere Commerce Architect / Lead Developer responsibilities include translating customer requirements into solution architectures. Will work with customers to define e-commerce site requirements and provide fit/gap analysis to identify component customization and integration points. Applicant must be able to communicate well with others, manage time, and work well within a team.
Must have experience with at least 1 end-to-end implementation of a WebSphere Commerce-based solution. You should have extensive WebCommerce domain knowledge and awareness of latest trends and industry direction in the Web Commerce space and an understanding of security and LDAP integration in a Portal environment.
Requirements:
Approximately 3-5 years of IBM WebSphere Commerce development experience, familiarity with WebSphere Commerce Programming Framework, 3-5 years of Java/J2EE web application development experience, JSPs, servlets, EJBs, Struts, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and XSLT. Candidates must be familiar with software development lifecycle, MVC design, and WebSphere Commerce best practices.
WebSphere 5.6 and above - Configuration, Customization and Deployment. Experience with J2EE persistence models (EJBs, Hibernate) and XML/XSLT desirable. Multi-platform (Windows/Linux/AIX/Solaris/iSeries) and multi-edition (Express, Pro, Business/Enterprise) experience preferred.
Knowledge or experience with databases, messaging middleware (WebSphere MQ preferred), transaction management, deployment and development automation (ANT), development methodologies, and configuration management practices are all pluses. Database: DB2UDB/Oracle Application Server.
· 5+ years professional IT industry experience
· 2+ years WebSphere Commerce solution design and development experience (5.6.x)
· 2+ years Java related technology application development experience
· Technical breadth across database and middleware technology
· Strong communication skills
