Current experience MUST on J2ME, Symbian O/S & mobile communications.
Position
We’re looking for people with a unique mix of server-side and mobile experience. Our system relies on a broad range of technologies, so we’re looking for developers who, while having distinct areas of focus, can comfortably switch between server, database, web, and mobile development as needed. For the mobile-focused, we’re looking for the kind of engineer who’s developed in Symbian, Java, FlashLite (or all three!) across a wide variety of platform versions and devices (and has lived through the pain of implementation-specific bugs and limitations). We’re looking for people with first-hand, veteran experience developing within the constraints of limited CPU, memory, and platform APIs and have shipped significant commercial games or applications.
Required Expertise
Expert knowledge of at least one (preferably two) of: Symbian, J2ME, FlashLite
Commercial experience developing across a large variety of devices
Expert knowledge of J2SE
Comfortable mucking around in SQL
Startup experience and flexible, agile mentality
Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule
A good sense of humor and a positive disposition
Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills, Can work with tight deadlines
