|
Requirements or qualifications for this position:
(Applicants must possess all of the following to be considered.)
Install and configure multi-node clustered cells for both versions 5.x & 6.x,
Install and configure IHS and the Plug-in
Setting up global security against corporate LDAP
Knowledge of WAS Admin Console
Configure and tune JVM’s
Configure JDBC, JMS resources, shared libraries and clusters (horizontal and vertical).
Support for WebSphere applications, Mainframe ISPF and TSO on z/OS
Expertise in Unix Shell Scripting (Python)
Automated deployment of .ear and .war files in a multi-node application server environment.
Created Admin scripts using JACL to decreases dependencies on the Admin Console
Architected J2EE projects for Intranet applications running in WebSphere
24/7 support for web sites/systems running on AIX and HP.
Assist applications teams in trouble shooting problems
Perform everyday task of supporting/trouble shooting the web application infrastructure
Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to direct, teach and influence decisions
Excellent written und verbal communication skills with both peers and management,
Additional preferred requirements:

Migrate WebSphere applications from Version 5.x to Version 6.x
Formalize change control process
Setting up Role based Authentication and Authentication and Authorization
Handle trouble tickets and understand the required dumps to open PMR’s with IBM
IBM Certified Systems Administrator on WebSphere Application Server version 5.0 or higher
