|
Job Summary: Experience working in a structured development environment with expert level design & development experience with key technologies such as Struts, J2EE, EJBs, Servlets, Javascript, JSP, JDBC, XML as well as familiarity with the IBM WSAD integrated development environment.
Essential Functions:
1. Builds Java applications using IBM’s WSAD IDE.
2. Provides written design documents, unit test plans, and test results.
3. Develops, integrates and implements related applications components including front-end development, server-side development and database integration.
4. Programs, maintains, documents and administers applications; provides technical support.
5. Communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.
6. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking best practices; participating in professional societies.
7. Consistently contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results in a timely manner.
Qualification Guidelines:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related applied science degree.
2. Minimum 4 years experience working in a structured environment designing and developing multi-tiered enterprise class J2EE application solutions.
3. Deep understanding and experience working with IBM Websphere Application Server, Knowledge of ETL / EAI tools such as DataStage and Web Focus Reporting tool is highly desirable
4. Experience with Informix Db access, LDAP directory, Rational tools and methodologies, Web Services, JUnit, Hibernate or other O/R mapping technologies (like JDO, Castor, etc.) would be a definite plus.
5. Experience with other technologies such as JRules – an Inference based Rules engines as well as Websphere Application Server administration would be a definite plus
