Job Description
|
The candidate will provide senior web services architectural expertise as a member of one or more development teams on a series of interrelated software development projects for Architectural Associates, LLC (AALLC) that may include, but is not limited to, the following list of activities:
• Establish and implement SOA framework and associated components
This activity involves assessing the current state of SOA for AALLC, performing technology evaluations, interacting with key stakeholders to gain acceptance of the proposed framework and executing phased incremental improvements as dictated by AALLC business needs. This task requires significant experience with Java/J2EE/Java EE 5, XML web services programming and related technologies, as well as Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) modeling, design and implementation, knowledge of Identity server concepts (e.g. Sun, IBM Tivoli, Netegrity) and a solid understanding of Smartcard and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Mentoring and training
This activity will require the candidate to mentor, train and work side-by-side with identified AALLC resources, including developer(s) and systems administrator(s), such that the identified AALLC personnel will have detailed expertise and specific experience with the configuration, development and deployment of SOA components. This activity may include creating additional detailed documentation as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
The candidate may provide additional support to AALLC on an as-needed basis, when requested by AALLC.
